This week I demonstrate my general back massage routine:
I did something a little different with this video. I start with my usual lengthy explanation as I show techniques, but I also include a real-time demonstration (with obligatory relaxing music) afterward. What do you think of this format? What’s your typical back routine like, and is there anything you’d add to mine? Tell us about it in the comments!
P.S. I’ve got a video on scapula mobilization ready for next week, so keep an eye out!
As always, great video. Going to test some of those strokes tonight.
Thanks Elan!
I found your YouTube videos a couple years ago while in school and signed up for your emails about a year ago. I have incorporated a lot of your slow, purposeful movement into my own routine, I use a lot more elbow and forearm to glide across the back in a similar way.
Thank you for sharing!!
Awesome, Shan! Thanks for taking the time to pass that along 🙂
More or less – I love that! Love your video. Looking forward to watching more! 🙂
I am learning so much from you thank you so much. Please come to the UK and do some teaching. Caz x
